In April we hosted a lecture by Tim Ellis and Sue Webster. Their energetic an creative lecture was enjoyed by all. Tim does an excellent job explaining his effects. He is able to make a simple effect into great entertainment. If you have not seen their lecture you should book them as they have something for everyone in your ring.

In May we had our monthly meeting which was well attended. We voted in our officers: Chris Sablich as president, Craig Kunkle as VP, Dan Young as sect/treasurer and directors Dick Gusefski and Jon Harris. Thank you in advance for your service. Members made announcements and we had reviews of our lecture in April and 4F's convention and Mawny. We had a guest, 9 year old Alexander Koffman, brought by his grandfather Bud Koffman who is introducing him to magic. We had several performers tonight including myself doing Richard Sanders effect Tagged; Alex Boyce producing chosen cards from his shuffled deck; Rich Krushansky with a nice stage prop frame in which appeared the chosen card; Jerry Natoli with a poem and a deck of cards - an effect by Daniel Garcia called "chosen"; Jon Harris producing a chosen card from a small box that was on the table; Doug Welch did a tissue paper tear effect that he picked up from Frank Moorehouse at Mawny; Phil Messina put an array of 12 cards on the table and the spectator ended up landing on the prediction card; Finally Gary Freed did his own card effect he calls "Gary in your Pocket".

In all it was a good night as I look forward to next months meeting.
